Impact of oximetry resolution on detection of oxyhemoglobin desaturation events and hypoxic burden in patients with obstructive sleep apnea<\/strong><\/p>

The analysis of 9,551 sleep tests<\/strong> evaluated the impact of oxyhemoglobin on the ODI and hypoxic burden in patients suspected of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).<\/p>

Traditional low-resolution oximetry (1%) has significantly overestimated the metric in comparison with high-resolution oximetry (0,1%), technology that was used in the Biologix\u00ae Sleep Test through the Oxistar\u2122 oxymeter<\/strong>.
